Такова была тема заседания Таллинского дискуссионного клуба, докладчиком по которой выступал человек, не нуждающийся в особо подробном ознакомлении ни как театральный режиссёр, ни как многолетний председатель совета Русского театра, ушедший из него после разногласий, возникших из-за увольнения Филиппа Лося, ни как бывший министр культуры, ни как вообще один из тех, кто стоял у истоков движения за независимость в Эстонии. Короче — это был Яак Аллик.
Пикантность ситуации придавало то, что Яак, как он сам рассказал, побывал во многих партиях — но, в отличие от ныне вошедших в моду перебежек по материальным соображениям, переходил из одной в другую тогда, когда эти партии исчезали с политической арены, и теперь он — один из идеологов социал-демократов, которые, вроде бы, должны быть идейно близки центристам, но что не имеет никакого значения, когда речь идёт, скажем, о кресле мэра или о правительственной коалиции.
Яак очень детально и весьма критически вчера проанализировал всю историю Центристской партии, в основном недоумевая, почему она пользуется такой популярностью у русскоязычного избирателя. Хотя, как он считает, по сути ничего для этого избирателя не сделала, а многие считающиеся дискриминационными законы, вроде законов о языке и о гражданстве, приняты не без участия центристов и породившего эту партию авторитарного лидера Эдгара Сависаара.
С оценкой Яаком Эдгара, которого я уже многие годы именовал Эдгаром Виссарионовичем именно по той же причине, спорить трудно. Хотя надо признать, что он был очень умелым политиком и хорошим организатором. Во имя чего? — это другой вопрос.
А вот на мучивший Яака вопрос я готов дать ответ: Эдгар понимал весомость поддержки русскоязычного электората, за который до поры до времени не боролась ни одна другая партия. Он для этого электората мало что сделал, но центристы были практически исключением на политическом ландшафте Эстонии, не выдвигая яро националистические лозунги. И этому электорату после организованного на правительственном уровне уничтожения (между прочим, тоже не без участия сависааровцев, рассматривавших их в качестве конкурентов) партий, маркированных как русские, хотя ОНПЭ как раз вышла с идеей преодоления раскола на национальной почве, ЦП осталась единственной, если не привлекательной, то хотя бы терпимой. Как сказано в словаре Даля, «на бесптичье и ж..па соловей!»
Не следует забывать, что Центристская партия возникла на базе Народного фронта, который в своё время поддержала почти половина неэстонского населения, среди создателей и активных участников которого были такие «неэстонцы», как философ профессор Рэм Наумович Блюм, доктор наук историк Рафик Григорян, и даже Юрий Михайлович Лотман.
Кризис, который переживают сейчас центристы, как напомнил в своём выступлении Яак Аллик, далеко не первый. Эдгар Сависаар обладал удивительной способностью, как я уже неоднократно писал, окружать себя людьми, которые лизали ему изо всех сил то самое место, которое на бесптичье, и которых он не уважал, с которыми не считался, рассматривая как беспрекословных исполнителей. Тех, кто имел собственное мнение и желание его отстаивать, он уважал, но к себе не приближал, опасаясь конкуренции. А именно властолюбие, как мне кажется, было основным движущим им фактором.
Вследствие этого партию уже не раз в критические моменты покидали самые близкие его выкормыши. И именно рецидив этого видим мы сейчас, потому что ратасы, аасы, скуратовские и прочие — это как раз сависааровские приближенные, в своё время его и продавшие. Теперь они продали и партию. Почему? Из-за того, что председателем стал «русский», который наполовину эстонец, наполовину кореец? Нет, конечно, — потому что их отстранили от власти.
Можно ли себе представить, что председатель партии, представляющей, как считается, интересы «инородцев», за сутки настолько сменил убеждения, что стал одной и центральных фигур партии эстонских националистов? Да нет и не было у Ратаса никаких убеждений. Была та же, что у Эдгара жажда власти, а ещё, чего не было у Эдгара, жажда безбедной материальной жизни. Этим вся их идейная убеждённость и ограничивалась. Но, Эдгар, надо признать, был несравнимо умнее этого пятого колеса в телеге.
Я думаю, что происшедшее с Центристской партией, если пользоваться терминами Средневековья, надо назвать началом периода очищения и покаяния. Очищения от скверны. А покаяния не с целью расшибить лоб, а чтобы осмыслить допущенные ошибки, извлечь уроки, вернуть партии её основу — идеологию, её организационный характер — союз единомышленников, а не единовыгодников.
Не надо думать, что все события в Центристской партии происходили в последнее время «по воле божьей». За ними стоят, конечно же, и ненавидящие эту политическую силу правительственные и неправительственные организации. У меня нет сомнений, что создание «КООС» — одно из таких мероприятий. Тем более нужно, не теряя времени, чётко сказать народу, за что будет бороться очищенная и осмыслившая ошибки партия, какую программу отстаивать: «чего изволите?» или «»что нужно людям!»
